Technologies Used in Our Capsules
Freeze drying
Freeze drying is a technology used where moisture content is removed from the raw material while retaining bioactive compounds and benefits of the supplement. Removal of moisture from the raw material extends the shelf life up to 2 years as microorganisms are not able to thrive under such conditions. After the freeze drying process, the product can be grinded into powder form and inserted into capsules.
The entire freeze drying process takes up to 72 hours depending on the raw material. Raw materials are first frozen and then pressure from vacuum is applied. Pressure from vacuum, along with controlled heat causes ice to be forced out and collected.
Enteric coating
Enteric coating is a layer of polymer applied to the outer surface of a drug, preventing active compounds from being degraded in the stomach due to low pH and enzymes present, ultimately reducing the intended effect and bioavailability of the drug.
Besides preventing active compounds from being degraded in the stomach, enteric coating also protects the stomach lining from irritant drugs. Enteric coating also allows for specific release of the drug

Nitrogen filled for encapsulation
Nitrogen gas is an inert gas that does not react readily with many chemical compounds to cause unwanted reactions. Oftentimes nitrogen is used to remove oxygen present in the void of packaging to prevent oxygen from reacting with active ingredients, causing unwanted effects.
Nitrogen prevents the spoilage caused by oxidation and hydrolysis, which in turn increases the shelf life. In addition, it helps in maintaining the sterility and cleanliness of the capsules.
Emulsification Technology
Oil and aqueous phase are prone to separation hence emulsifiers are added to prevent such separations. Emulsification is essential in ensuring stability and homogeneity of two immiscible liquids such as oil and water through the use of energy.
Emulsification technologies allow for better palatability of drugs by masking it. Oftentimes, flavouring agents may be added to aqueous phase to increase palatability. In addition emulsifications also increase digestibility of capsules
